Courtney and Aaron traveled from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, to gather with 20 of the people closest to them for a joyful destination wedding at Turtle Beach on Siesta Key.
From the beginning, Courtney wanted the ceremony to feel coastal without becoming overly nautical. She loved soft garden-inspired flowers but wanted shades of blue incorporated throughout the design, creating a look that felt fresh, relaxed and unmistakably Gulf Coast.
The result was a ceremony that felt polished and modern, but still warm, personal and full of life.
A Siesta Key Wedding Filled With Family
Courtney and Aaron chose Turtle Beach for an intimate ceremony surrounded by their closest family and friends.
One of the sweetest moments of the day came when Courtney’s sons walked her down the aisle and gave her away. She entered to Carrie Underwood’s “Look at Me,” setting the tone for a ceremony that felt sentimental without becoming overly formal.
Courtney was smiling from ear to ear throughout the day. The entire celebration had an easy, lighthearted energy — lots of laughter, genuine emotion and the feeling that everyone there was simply happy to be together.
Coastal Blues With a Garden-Inspired Feel
Courtney wanted blue incorporated into the flowers, but she didn’t want the design to feel heavily nautical or overly themed.
We kept the overall floral direction soft and garden-inspired, using coastal blue tones alongside white flowers and fresh greenery. The blue brought in the color of the water and sky while the varied floral textures kept the arrangements feeling romantic and natural.
That same palette carried through the ceremony flowers and bridal party florals, giving the entire design a cohesive look without making every element feel overly matched.
A Modern Moon Arch Without Draping
For the altar, Courtney and Aaron chose our gold moon arch but elected to leave it completely free of fabric.
That small decision changed the entire personality of the setup.
Without draping, the circular structure felt cleaner and more architectural, allowing the florals to stand out while keeping the ceremony modern and uncomplicated.
The open moon arch also allowed the beach and Gulf setting to remain visible through the structure, which worked beautifully with the understated coastal palette.
Navy chair sashes added a deeper blue accent to the guest seating and helped visually connect the ceremony space to the blue tones in the flowers.

Courtney and Aaron selected our Palm Signature Package, which gave them the foundation for a fully styled beach ceremony while still allowing them to personalize the design.
Their wedding included the ceremony structure and floral styling, guest seating for their intimate group, officiant, professional photography, ceremony music, coordination and complete setup.
They also added bridal party flowers so the coastal blue-and-white floral palette carried beyond the altar and into the personal flowers.
The result still felt effortless and relaxed, but every piece of the ceremony worked together visually.

Courtney and Aaron also incorporated our sand unity ceremony into their vows.
During the ceremony, they blended sand together as a symbolic representation of their marriage and the lives they were joining.
